Bed Rest Pillows - Wedge
Type
The wedge type of bed rest pillows provides you with healthy
more comfortable sleep. It is also great for shoulder or neck
pain. It helps with acid reflux, snoring, allergies or any other
condition which breathing may be impaired in supine position.
Most wedge pillows are constructed with the NASA
memory foam over polyurethane foam with removable neck and back
support pillows. They are designed to be firm enough to ensure a
continued anti-reflux angle and simultaneously, with its patented
design, provide a luxurious and comfortable night's sleep. Plus,
you can "customize" the pillow to make your next night's sleep -
your best! High-quality memory foam really does make this wedge
pillow the best available. Some of these bed rest pillows
are long enough to support the whole torso.
If you suffer from acid reflux like millions of others this
could help alleviate some of that discomfort. Some think it's
awesome. While it can be somewhat pricy it is soft and
pliable (unlike other foam pillows), and it can raise you at a
gradual incline which is much easier to sleep...
An unexpected benefit is that the solid wedge pillow gives a
great deal of back support, I've noticed a difference in upper back
pain in particular since getting the pillow. It's quite firm, so it
keeps your back in a firm line.
Pregnant women would need to sleep at an incline to get
comfortable might really like this wedge type of bed rest pillows.
Just make sure when you are getting ready to buy one of these bed
rest pillows the height it will put you. They come in varying
heights some I have tried are way to high and just makes me more
uncomfortable. The reason I say make sure is because some
online merchants may not let you return it. For you acid
reflux suffers Research shows that only a six inch rise is
necessary to relieve reflux symptoms, so my advice would be to
purchase one that is only six inches in height.
Okay lets wrap this up, do your due diligence, maybe even ask
you friends to try their's first. These bed rest pillows
take some getting used to, do not expect miracle results the
first night. It is very firm, not soft. You may or may not feel
comfortable adding a pillow. To read in bed, you will need one.
Also, remember if you are a side sleeper it is hard to turn
over and sleep on your side, another obstacle to getting a
great nights sleep.
